Russia has warned the US would be crossing “red lines” by supplying long-range JASSM missiles to Ukraine. The US could announce the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles in a weapons package for Ukraine this autumn, Reuters reported. However, delivery could take several months as the US works through technical issues ahead of any shipment, sources told Reuters. Russia’s foreign minister warned that the US “has already crossed the threshold that they designated for themselves.””They are being incited and [Ukrainian President] Zelensky, of course, sees this and uses it. Whoever jokes about our red lines, do not fools with our red lines. They know perfectly well what they are,” Sergey Lavrov said. Separately, Russia’s foreign ministry warned that response to such a move would be immediate and “extremely painful”
