Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Mumbai residence early Thursday morning. Multiple police teams, including the Mumbai Local Police and Crime Branch, are investigating the case.

At least eight teams of police have been formed to investigate the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his Mumbai residence in the wee hours of Thursday. The case is also being investigated by the Mumbai Local Police and the Crime Branch.
Also commenting on the incident, an officer from the Forensic department told reporters that the fingerprints had been collected from the incident spot.
“We have collected the fingerprints. Further information will be provided by senior officials,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police detained three people working at Khan’s house following an attack on him.
The three were taken to the police station where they were being interrogated.
Saif Ali Khan was allegedly stabbed by an intruder, who barged in his Mumbai house. The incident took place around 3.00 am.
The actor is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. Police have started the investigation and a First Information Report (FIR) against an intruder has been lodged at the Bandra Police Station.
The police have also started an investigation, and CCTV footage from the area around the house is being reviewed.
