The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 series is now available in India. The latest Galaxy Book series consists of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro, Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 5 360.
The latest Intel Core Ultra CPUs (Series 2) with an NPU that can reportedly give up to 47 TOPS for AI-based features are included in the Galaxy Book 5 series. Up to 3K resolution AMOLED screens are available on the Copilot+ PCs. The laptops are said to have a battery life of up to 25 hours on a single charge and come with a number of Galaxy AI features.
Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Series: Specifications
The Galaxy Book 5 Pro features a 14-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 3K resolution. While the Galaxy Book 5 360 features a 15.6-inch full-HD AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 boasts a 16-inch AMOLED 3K display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung is powering the new models with Intel Core Ultra 5 or Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. There are two RAM options (16GB and 32GB) and three storage options (256GB, 512GB, and 1TB) available for all three versions. Compared to earlier generations, the Lunar Lake is said to have a 40 percent lower SoC power consumption and a 3x increase in AI computation capacity thanks to its revised CPU-GPU configuration and NPU. They provide AI Select and Photo Remaster, two Galaxy AI functions.
The new Galaxy Book 5 series comes equipped with several AI-powered features, including Microsoft Phone Link, Quick Share, and Multi-Control, enabling seamless multi-device communication alongside the Galaxy AI suite. For security, the laptops are safeguarded by Samsung Knox.
The Galaxy Book 5 360 features stereo speakers, while the Galaxy Book 5 Pro and Pro 360 boast quad speakers. All models support Dolby Atmos for an enhanced audio experience. Additionally, each variant includes a 2MP full-HD (1080p) webcam for high-quality video calls. Samsung claims the new Galaxy Book lineup can offer up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Series Price In India
The Galaxy Book 5 360 starts at Rs 1,14,990, while the Galaxy Book 5 Pro and Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 are priced at Rs 1,31,990 and Rs 1,55,990, respectively.
All three models are available for pre-order on Samsung.com, at Samsung India Smart Cafes, and select authorized retail stores and online platforms. The official sale starts from March 20, 2025.
