Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Likely To Launch In India In April: Everything We Know

Last Updated:

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is rumoured to debut in April with its sleek design, powerful hardware and premium features in the market.

Galaxy S25 Edge could sit between the S25+ and S25 Ultra models in the lineup

Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 series in January this year which includes the Galaxy S25, S25+, and the S25 Ultra models. The company also teased the Galaxy S25 Edge variant at the event and later displayed it at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona earlier this month.

Now, reports say the highly anticipated smartphone will be globally unveiled in April, with availability expected to begin in early May. The sleek Samsung flagship promises some interesting updates and give buyers the option to get a phone that may not feature on their usual list. With the Galaxy S25 Edge launch date getting closer, here is a look at the expected features, design and price of the new Samsung premium model.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Launch Price Expected

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch for around EUR 1,200 and EUR 1,300 (Rs 1,12,000 to Rs 1,21,500 approx) for the 256GB variant. Going by these numbers and the usual Samsung strategy, the Galaxy S25 Edge price in markets like India could be around Rs 1,05,000 which puts it between the Galaxy S25+ and the S25 Ultra in the lineup.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge: Features We Could See

So what will the new Samsung phone offer besides its obvious sleek dimensions? It will be a flagship device thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is likely to sport a 6.65-inch AMOLED display which is eerily close to the 6.7-inch panel on the Galaxy S25+ model.

But the biggest highlight of the S25 Edge will be its ultra-slim and lightweight design at 5.84mm and under 162 grams, making it the sleekest premium phone in the market. The company is also expected to use a titanium frame that will surely enhance its durability and limit the chances of corrosion in the long run.

To justify the high price, the Galaxy S25 Edge is tipped to get a 200MP primary sensor along with a 50MP ultra-wide lens. You could have a 12MP front camera for selfies. However, the slim design of the Galaxy S25 Edge could become a problem as it is likely to pack a small 3,900mAh battery unit which will be a concern for many.
