Samsung Free Display Change For More Phones: What We Know

The company has added the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy S21 FE model to its free display replacement offer that will be available till December 31, 2024. So, if you have any of these Samsung models and are facing the green line issue on the display, you should head over to the nearest authorised Samsung support centre and avail the offer.

The company is most likely going to ask for the bill to authenticate the correct purchase date of the device, which allows the brand to initiate the replacement process. Having said that, Samsung requires the phone to be within the three-year period and also have the first owner to be eligible for the new display. The replacement will be done free of cost but expect the service centre to charge for the labour put into changing the unit.

The green line issue has popped up predominantly on phones with an AMOLED panel, which also includes OnePlus. The brand has faced a lot of issues lately, forcing the company to widen its free replacement support to ensure that people don’t stop buying its devices.

Samsung will also have its hands full with the rumoured early launch of the Galaxy S25 series next year. Reports say the company could unveil its new flagships along with the Android 15 version in January itself which will be a few weeks earlier than its usual timeline.
