Kedarnath, starring Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput, completed six years of its release.

Sara Ali Khan made her acting debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s 2018 directorial Kedarnath, which co-starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput. On Saturday, December 7, the romantic drama completed six years of its release. To commemorate the special occasion, the 29-year-old posted a video on her Instagram account, sharing some glimpses from her trip to Kedarnath. The video began with Sara Ali Khan just arriving in the temple town of Kedarnath. Dressed in a vibrant red sweatshirt and white leggings, the actress was seen walking her way up to the revered temple premises with her team. As the video continued, she expressed that she felt “outstanding” upon her arrival.
Sara was then seen chanting “Har Har Mahadev” and visiting the Kedarnath temple. In the video, as a voice-over, she explained, “The first time that I went to Kedarnath, I was not an actor. The first time I went to Kedarnath, I didn’t even know if I was me. Everything I am has come from that place, everything I am. So much gratitude aur bas bulawa aata rahe aur main jaati rahoon.” As she narrated her feelings, a montage from her visit to Kedarnath played out.
She also added a few clips from the film Kedarnath featuring her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, while the song Namo Namo played in the background. In the caption, Sara wrote, “6 years of Kedarnath. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday and sometimes it feels like a lifetime away…Jai Bholenath. Thank you for making me me. And thank you for giving me a lifetime of memories.”
Kedarnath is a romantic drama written and directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The film revolves around an interfaith couple: a wealthy Hindu Brahmin girl (Sara) and a Muslim boy who works as a porter (Sushant). Upon its release, the film received mixed reviews from the audience.
Speaking of Sara, the actress is undoubtedly an avid social media user, who loves to keep her fans updated with her day-to-day activities. So, when she went to visit the Kedarnath temple once again, she made sure to share some glimpses from her trip on her Instagram account.
On October 29, Sara posted a set of pictures, giving her fans a sneak peek of her trip to the temple town. In most of the photos, the 29-year-old actress is seen praying with utmost faith and conviction. She also shared some ethereal photos of the snow-capped mountains.
