Selena Gomez goes makeup free as she continues to spark Benny Blanco engagement rumors by wearing gold band on THAT finger in LA

Selena Gomez further fueled engagement rumors as she stepped out in Burbank on Thursday while wearing a gold band on her ring finger. 

The Only Murders In The Building actress, 32 – who recently appeared in the first trailer for her upcoming Netflix film Emilia Perez – opted for the piece of jewelry as she grabbed a quick lunch at Subway. 

The Rare Beauty founder first sparked speculation that she was engaged to boyfriend, Benny Blanco, when she shared a selfie earlier this month and hid her ring finger. 

During the latest outing, Gomez kept it casual wearing a short-sleeved, gray shirt that had late singer, Selena Quintanilla Pérez, on the front. 

The star slipped into a pair of comfy, black sweatpants and allowed her brunette locks to flow down naturally past her shoulders.

The Wolves songstress was later seen exiting the eatery and strolled back to a parked, sleek SUV to head to her next destination. 

During the errand run, a flashy gold band was seen on her ring finger – adding to the swirling engagement rumors surrounding the actress and record producer, Benny Blanco.  

Gomez first sparked speculation that Blanco had popped the big question earlier this month when she uploaded a mirror selfie onto her Instagram stories. 

She modeled a shimmering, champagne-colored dress and open-toed, strappy pumps while getting ready for ‘a night out.’ 

Benny could be seen standing behind her in the image which was taken inside a spacious bathroom. 

She added pink heart emojis over her left hand, prompting fans to guess that the star was possibly concealing a ring.

Social media users jumped to X to share their thoughts over the picture, with one penning, ‘Selena Gomez announcing she’s engaged by intentionally trying not to announce that she’s engaged.’

Another wrote, ‘I think Selena Gomez just got engaged bc why is she covering her left hand on her latest IG story?’ while one added, ‘She’s def engaged [sobbing emoji].’ 

The selfie came not long after a ‘tip’ was shared to gossip site, DeuxMoi, that said Gomez and Blanco ‘got engaged’ while ‘surrounded by friends at their usual beach house hang out’ in August. 

Earlier last week, Gomez was seen at LAX airport but continued to keep her left hand hidden with the long sleeve of her shirt. 

She also recently followed a wedding planner on TikTok called CMG Weddings & Events – which only further added to the mounting engagement speculation. 

On Friday, however, Gomez made a grand arrival at the Telluride Film Festival, and most notably, her ring finger on her left hand was bare. 

She seemingly went through an outfit change and took down her hair from an updo to join Jacques Audiard, Karla Sofia Gascon on stage. She was seen hugging Gascon while she spoke to Audiard. 

While Gascon spoke on stage Gomez was seen standing beside her and with Adriana Paz on her other side. 

At the event, Gomez also presented Audiard with a silver medallion.

When the pair’s romance was intitially confirmed, the actress previously flaunted a diamond ‘B’ ring on Instagram. 

Last month, the lovebirds also revealed who said ‘I love you’ first while sharing who is the ‘big spoon’ in bed by taking a quiz for a TikTok video.

At one point, the stars were asked who the ‘big spoon’ was, and in response, Blanco sweetly wrapped his arms around Selena. In regards to who said ‘I love you’ first, Gomez pointed at herself while mouthing the word ‘Me.’

To answer who was the ‘more romantic’ one, the actress offered an unsure hand gesture while the record producer motioned towards himself.

The beauty also called Benny the ‘love of my life’ in a snap that was taken while they embraced and Blanco laid a gentle kiss on her forehead. 

While at the Time 100 Most Influential Companies event back in May, Gomez revealed that she had plans to adopt a child at age 35 if she hadn’t met a partner by then.

At one point, Stern said that he predicted marriage in their future and Blanco replied with, ‘You and me both…I gotta get my act together!’

Stern also asked, ‘When will you propose? You should make the announcement now. When are you going to propose to your very famous girlfriend Selena?’

And Blanco answered, ‘When I look at her…I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’

He further gushed, ‘People always said this to me, when you know you meet your best friend, she truly is my best friend,’ and added that Selena is ‘the coolest, nicest, sweetest…’

‘We laugh all f***ing day, she inspires me. I get home from work, I think I had a good day,’ Blanco told Stern.

‘I’m like, “What did you do?” “Oh I just filmed this thing with Meryl Streep and then I went to a fundraiser and now I’m recording.” My day sounds like s**t every day compared to hers,’ he jokingly added.

When Gomez and Blanco’s romance was confirmed last year in December – the pair had already been dating for six months. 

However, both Gomez and Blanco have collaborated in the past before striking up a romance. 

On her 2015 track, Same Old Love, he was notably one of the producers and they also reunited for the song I Can’t Get Enough in 2019.

In February, Gomez also commented on the romance while talking to Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1. 

While at the Time 100 Most Influential Companies event back in May, Gomez revealed that she had plans to adopt a child at age 35 if she hadn’t met a partner by then

‘Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you.’

‘And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in,’ she continued.

‘I’d have to say overall, it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely. I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.’ 

Amid engagement rumors, Selena glammed up in a glittering, black dress at the season four premiere of Only Murders In The Building last week in L.A. – but was not seen wearing a band on her ring finger.
