D’YAVOL Inception is a blend of eight rare single malts from Scotland’s Speyside, Highland, Lowland and Island regions.

Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan’s luxury liquor brand, D’YAVOL, introduced in 2023, has achieved a new milestone in just one year. The company’s premium scotch whisky, named Inception, has now bagged the title of Best Overall Scotch as well as the Best of Class Blended Malt Scotch Whisky at the 2024 New York World Spirits Competition (NYWSC).
The New York World Spirits Competition, organised by The Tasting Alliance, is one of the most well-known events in the spirits industry. It is judged by a jury of international experts that assess entries based on quality, authenticity and craftsmanship. Shah Rukh Khan commented on the accomplishment, saying, “INCEPTION’s award at the New York World Spirits Competition is a testament to the belief that the finest things in life are crafted with care and passion,” quoted Free Press Journal.
As per the official website, the D’YAVOL Inception is a blend of eight rare single malts from Scotland’s Speyside, Highland, Lowland and Island regions. These malts have been aged up to 12 years, with some maturing, in particular, Tawny Port and Madeira casks.
Additionally, the liquor is non-chill filtered, helping in preserving its rich taste. Also, it has complex flavour notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits and oak spice complemented by undertones of smoky wood, ripe plums and spiced vanilla.
Furthermore, as per the official site, the liquor offers a balance of peat and sweet notes. Also, it is bottled at 47.1 per cent ABV (Alcohol by Volume) which means it is a bold whisky that preserves its original flavour.
D’YAVOL Inception Price in India:
SRK and Aryan Khan’s D’YAVOL Inception has the highest price in Karnataka Rs 9,950, followed by Maharashtra at Rs 9,800 and Telangana at Rs 9,760. West Bengal, on the other hand, offers the alcohol with a price tag of Rs 6,210, however, in Delhi, UP, Haryana and Goa it is priced at Rs 7,200, Rs 6,300, Rs 6,000 and Rs 9,000 respectively.
Apart from Inception, D’YAVOL also offers a blended scotch whisky named Vortex and a Black Pearl filtered Single Estate Vodka which, as per the company, is originated from the heart of Poland and made with 100 per cent winter wheat.
