Sharadiya Navratri begins today, October 3, from the Ashwin Shukla Pratipada Tithi. This year’s Navratri falls under the Gemini ascendant, with Mercury positioned in the fourth house of its own zodiac sign, Virgo. The Sun and Moon are aligned with Ketu, promising auspicious results.

The nine-day festival of fasting and worship commenced this morning with Kalash Sthapana. The auspicious time for Kalash Sthapana was between 6:15 am and 7:22 am. For those who missed the morning time, it can also be performed in the afternoon during Abhijeet Muhurta, from 11:46 am to 12:33 pm.
