At SMTOWN Live 2025 in Seoul, SHINee’s Key and Minho took centre stage to celebrate SM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary, delivering electrifying performances despite Onew and Taemin’s absence. The duo captivated the audience with their dynamic energy. However, fans couldn’t help but notice Key struggling with his health during the event. Despite feeling unwell, the Bad Love singer powered through and completed his performance alongside Minho. Following the concert, Key addressed concerns about Bubble, revealing he had tested negative for Type A flu but admitted his condition had deteriorated further.

In one clip from the performance, after the stage lights were dimmed, fans captured the moment when Key lost his balance while walking on stage. Fortunately, Minho was quick to hold him and safely took him down the stairs while supporting him. Another video from the live performance showed Key struggling with his health, as he appeared tired during the dance and even missed a few lyrics of the song. Despite his condition, he continued to give his best on stage.

Key also informed everyone through Bubble that he was sick on stage during SMTOWN Live 2025 and revealed that he lost his voice due to the sickness. Despite his condition, he didn’t disappoint his fans and showed his professionalism.

As per Korea Boo, he wrote, “Guys, honestly, I haven’t been feeling well since yesterday, but I pushed through with medication and tea. Today, I felt much worse, so I went to the hospital. I tested negative for Type A flu, so it seems to be just a common cold or exhaustion. This morning, I completely lost my voice. I thought it would get better, but it looks like I won’t be able to perform on stage. I’m really sorry. I wanted to express my deepest apologies & gratitude to Shawols who came to the venue & those supporting from afar.”

Last week, Stray Kids’ Bang Chan also fell ill with flu-like symptoms just before the SOUNDWAVE Korea Video Call & Fansign Event and the StarRiver China Video Call Event. As a result, while his fellow band members, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and IN, continued with the events, Bang Chan was unable to participate. His agency, JYP Entertainment issued an apology to fans for his absence due to his sickness.
