Shocking moment former UW football stars attack cyclist and spit on him after road rage incident

This is the shocking moment two University of Washington football stars attacked a fellow student and spit on him after a road rage incident.

Sophomores Tylin ‘Tybo’ Rogers and Diesel Gordon have been accused of assaulting Camden Malone in a stairwell of a building on NE 50th Street in Seattle on March 11, according to Fox 13 Seattle.

Newly released surveillance footage allegedly showed the two boys standing over Malone as he was seated on the ground next to his bicycle. Rogers appears to reach out and slap the victim and throw around his bike.

‘I thought my life was over, and I was in danger,’ Malone told Fox 13 Seattle. ‘I tried my best to get away, and it was just gut-wrenching when I found out they did see, where I went, and they were coming down to get me.

‘They assaulted me. I was pushed. I was hit in the face. My bike was broken. My glasses were broken, shoved around. Luckily, the whole thing was caught on camera.’

Rogers and Gordon allegedly attacked Malone after he flipped them off while riding his bike on the road.

After finding out his roommate at Shoreline Community College had died, he was riding back home from his job on campus when Roger and Gordon allegedly started yelling and cursing at him to get off the road.

Malone then flipped off the two football stars, who he claimed tried to hit him. After spitting on their call, he began chasing him before attacking him in the stairwell.

Witnesses collaborated that the two football players allegedly got back into their car and left after realizing they were being watched, according to Fox 13 Seattle.

The pair weren’t arrested for the assault until April 5.

Gordon told Seattle Police that they were driving a rental car behind the victim who was ‘bicycling slowly’ for two blocks. He maintained he did not yell or honk at Malone, but told authorities he didn’t know if Rogers had.

At a red light, Gordon said he asked Malone if he could pass him and that Malone spit on his car and called him a name, he told police, according to Fox 13 Seattle.

He admitted to following the victim and spitting on Malone, but said he did not touch him. He also told police Malone had said his roommate had just died, according to the outlet.
