IPL Auction 2025 SRH Team Players List: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bought a lot of bowlers on day 1 of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auctions.
Senior pacers Mohammed Shami and Harshal Patel were brought in for Rs 10 crore and Rs 8 crore respectively as Simarjeet Singh joined for Rs. 1.5 crore. Spinners Adam Zampa and Rahul Chahar were bought for Rs 2.40 crore and Rs 3.20 crore respectively. Ishan Kishan became their costliest purchase on Sunday, costing Rs 11.25 crore and will surely be the first-choice wicket-keeper. They also got in lower-order batters Abhinav Manohar and Atharva Taide for Rs 30 lakh and Rs 3.20 crore respectively.
SRH had spent Rs. 75 crore from their total budget of Rs 120 crore on retaining five players and have a purse cap of Rs 45 crore to spend to fill 20 vacant slots. SRH have already retained three overseas players and with just two Indians in their squad. The franchise retained five players ahead of the mega auction including Pat Cummins, Heinrich Klaasen, Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
