On October 4, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei led Friday prayers in Tehran for the first time in several years. The occasion also marked his first public appearance since Iran launched 180 ballistics towards Israel.Addressing the massive crowd outside the Grand Mosalla mosque of Tehran, Khamenei said every strike on Israel is “a service to the region and to all humanity.”Iran’s leader also stated that the U.S. chose to preserve Israel for economic reasons, using the country as a base to import and export goods from the West.Israel has sworn it will retaliate for Iran’s missile barrage.
