Star Indian Cricketer Lashes Out At Airline For ‘Worst Staff Management And Ruined Holiday’

Abhishek Sharma alleged that the mistreatment of the airline staff led to him missing his flight.

Abhishek Sharma took to social media to lash out at an airline ruined his ‘one-day holiday’ as he said he was redirected to multiple counters making him miss his flight.

“I had the worst experience with Indigo at Delhi airport, and the behaviour of staff, especially counter manager Ms Sushmita Mittal, was absolutely unacceptable. I arrived on time at the correct counter, but they redirected me unnecessarily to another counter. only to tell me later that check-in was closed, making me miss my flight. I only had a one-day holiday, which has now been completely ruined. To make it even worse, they are offering no further helpful assistance. This is by far the worst airline experience, and worst staff management I’ve ever had,” Abhishek Sharma wrote on his Instagram story.

Abhishek will link-up with the Indian cricket team as he has been named for the five-match T20 series between India and England starting from January 22. The first match of the T20I series between will be played in Kolkata on January 22. The second match will be played in Chennai on January 25 with the third match being played in Rajkot on January 28. The fourth T20 will be held in Pune on January 31 as the fifth and last match will be played in Mumbai on February 2.
