Legendary Indian spinner Anil Kumble reminisced over his incredible 10-wicket haul that etched his name among the greatest to have played the sport as he decimated Pakistan’s batting order at the Feroz Shah Kotla, now renamed Arun Jaitley Stadium, in New Delhi on the 7th of February 1999.

Kumble’s rampage turned out to be one for the ages as he single-handedly bundled out the Pakistani side for 207 runs in the final innings of the Test to lead India to a mammoth 212-run triumph.
Laker, the first to the landmark 10-wicket haul, weaved his magic through the Australian side all the way back in the year 1956 in Manchester when Australia came touring.
Kumble ended his glittery career with 619 wickets in Tests in over a century of caps for India, while also managing 337 scalps for the men in blue in the ODI format before hanging up his boots.
