Stocks To Watch On January 9, 2025: Domestic markets ended flat on Tuesday, as investor sentiment remained subdued due to a GDP estimate for FY25 hitting a four-year low. Today, several stocks will be in focus, including TCS, Tata Elxsi, Lupin, Hindalco, Tata Motors, and others, amid news developments and third-quarter results.
Results Announcements Today: TCS, IREDA, Tata Elxsi, and others will report their quarterly earnings on January 9.
Tata Motors: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, reported a 3% rise in wholesale volume, reaching 104,427 units compared to the same quarter last year. This is a 20% increase from the previous quarter (ending September 30, 2024). However, retail sales for Q3, at 106,334 units, were down by 3% year-on-year but saw a 3% growth compared to the previous quarter.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M): M&M has successfully mitigated risks in its semiconductor supply chain for its new electric vehicle models, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, unveiled in November 2024. Deliveries for these vehicles are expected to begin in March.
