Key Stocks in Focus
Reliance Industries (RIL)
RIL reported a 9% rise in consolidated revenue for Q4, reaching Rs 2.61 lakh crore. Despite pressure on the energy segment, strong performance in digital and retail cushioned the impact. The company posted FY25 cash profits of Rs 1.46 lakh crore, surpassing annual capital investments.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M)
M&M will acquire a 58.96% stake in SML Isuzu for Rs 555 crore, aiming to strengthen its commercial vehicle business. The deal includes a share purchase from Sumitomo Corporation and Isuzu Motors, followed by an open offer.
Force Motors
The company posted a robust 210% YoY increase in Q4 net profit at Rs 434.7 crore. Revenue rose 17.1% to Rs 2,356 crore, with EBITDA margins improving to 14%.
Poonawalla Fincorp
Q4 net profit declined 81.2% YoY to Rs 62.3 crore due to one-off expenses and provisioning. However, Net Interest Income (NII) grew 11.7% to Rs 707.9 crore.
L&T Finance
Q4 net profit rose 14.9% YoY to ₹636.2 crore. NII grew by 3.8% to Rs 2,423.2 crore. Gross NPA ratio edged up slightly to 3.29%.
Hindustan Unilever (HUL)
HUL is ramping up efforts in its Rs 15,294 crore foods business, shifting focus from margins to growth. It also plans to list its Rs 1,800 crore ice cream unit by FY26.
Tata Technologies
The company reported a 20% YoY rise in net profit at Rs 189 crore for Q4. Revenue dipped slightly to Rs 1,286 crore from Rs 1,301 crore a year ago.
IDFC First Bank
The bank saw a 58% YoY drop in standalone net profit to Rs 304.1 crore, though NII rose nearly 10% to Rs 4,907.2 crore.
DCB Bank
DCB Bank posted a 13.7% increase in net profit at Rs 177 crore for Q4FY25. Net Interest Income (NII) grew 9.9% year-on-year.
IREDA
IREDA is reviewing its exposure to Gensol Engineering and has filed a complaint with the Economic Offences Wing over alleged falsified documents. Gensol’s account is currently under stress but not classified as an NPA.
IRFC
IRFC has emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 5,000 crore term loan to NTPC, aimed at funding capacity expansion and renewable projects. Final approval is pending NTPC board clearance.
