Sudesh Lehri recently shared exciting news with his fans as his son Mani and daughter-in-law were blessed with a baby boy and he became a grandfather. The entertainer posted an adorable picture on Instagram, cradling his newborn grandson. But true to his comic spirit, Sudesh isn’t letting the “grandpa” tag slow him down. During a fun moment on the sets of Laughter Chefs Season 2, while posing with fellow contestants Rahul Vaidya, Kashmera Shah, Krushna Abhishek, and Vicky Jain, Sudesh joked that he was still the youngest of the lot. Krushna was quick to fire back, reminding him that he’s now a grandfather and should drop the “youngest” claim. Their playful banter had the paparazzi and co-contestants in splits.
While posing with the co-contestants, Sudesh said, “Look, for the first time, there’s a youngster standing in the middle,” Krushna intervened and said, “Now stop calling yourself a youngster, he’s become a grandfather. He’s officially a grandfather now, you can’t call him a youngster anymore.” To this, Sudesh replied, “Every day they used to call me old on set, so I became grandfather to surprise them.”
Sudesh Lehri shared the happy news on Instagram by posting a sweet picture where he is seen holding his grandson’s tiny fingers, which left his fans delighted. In the caption, the comedian wrote, “New member of our family.”
The whole family is overjoyed and excited after welcoming the newest member of the Lehri family. After sharing the post on social media, many celebrities, including Sonu Nigam, Harshdeep Kaur, Farah Khan, Kawaljit Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Adaa Khan, Shilpa Shirodkar, Samarth Jurel, Pavitra Punia, Yuvraaj Hans, Tannaz Irani and Bharti Singh, among others, sent their well wishes to Mani and the comedian in the post.
Over the years, Sudesh Lehri has carved a niche for himself in the industry by being part of many popular comedy shows such as Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, Laughter Chefs and Comedy Nights Bachao. In the ongoing second season of Laughter Chefs, he is teamed up with actress Mannara Chopra.
