Swiggy 15-minute food delivery
Swiggy, the Bengaluru-based food delivery giant, has launched a new standalone app called Snacc, designed for 10-15 minute food delivery. The app, which is now available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, focuses on delivering fast food, prepared meals, and beverages. Currently, Snacc is operating in Bengaluru and aims to provide an even faster food delivery experience than Swiggy’s existing Bolt service, which offers rapid restaurant deliveries.
Snacc’s concept is similar to that of Blinkit’s Bistro and Zepto Cafe, both of which have introduced standalone apps for quick food delivery.
Zomato’s New 15-Minute Delivery Feature
Zomato has quietly rolled out a new 15-minute food delivery feature on its app, intensifying competition in the fast-growing quick food delivery market. While not yet officially announced, the feature is live in select locations across major cities such as Mumbai and Bengaluru. The new “15-minute delivery” tab can be found in the app’s explore section, offering a variety of quick-to-prepare and ready-to-eat meals from partner restaurants.
Ola has also entered the quick food delivery space, expanding its 10-minute service, Ola Dash, which initially launched in Bengaluru and is now being rolled out across India.
Last year, Reliance revealed plans to enter the quick commerce market via JioMart, promising deliveries within 30 minutes. Meanwhile, fashion shopping platform Myntra is reportedly piloting its own 30-minute delivery service for certain brands in select Bengaluru locations.
