TCS Quarterly Results 2025: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country’s largest software services exporter, declared a final dividend of Rs 30 for FY25 on Thursday, April 10. TCS said the payment of the dividend will be made on 5th day from the conclusion of its 30th AGM.

“The directors have recommended a final dividend of Rs 30 per equity share of Rs 1 each of the company which shall be paid/dispatched on the fifth day from the conclusion of the 30th Annual General Meeting, subject to approval of the shareholders of the company,” the IT major said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services company, on Thursday reported a 1.68 per cent fall YoY in its net profit to Rs 12,224 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25). Its revenue from operations during January-March 2025 rose 5.29 per cent to Rs 64,479 crore, compared with Rs 61,237 crore a year ago.

In the last fiscal, the IT giant has already announced three interim dividends of Rs 10 (in January 2025, October 2024 and July 2024 ) and a special dividend of Rs 66 (in January 2025) for its investors. The company has had a dividend yield of 4% in the last 12 months, with a total payout of Rs 124 during the same period, according to a report from Axis Securities.

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. settled 1.64% lower on Wednesday at ₹3,239, a day before its March quarter earnings for the financial year 2025. The stock is down over 20% so far in 2025.

The IT sector has been battered on Dalal Street with the sell-off seen in the US markets recently. The Nifty IT index, along with TCS and most other peers, hit 52-week lows in recent times. However, with the 90-day pause on tariffs being announced and the resultant rally in the Nasdaq on Wednesday night, the sector becomes a prime short-covering candidate.
