Thousands of Telstra customers in southern New South Wales were left without internet and phone coverage following a major outage.
More than 100,000 services were disrupted from Nowra to Eden and inland to Bombala following an incident at an exchange site.
Crews were deployed to resolve the issue which affected 99 other base stations across the region, the ABC reported.
Power has since been restored at the site and all services have since come back online, a Telstra spokesperson told the Daily Mail.
‘Our team fixed an onsite power issue impacting mobile, NBN, ADSL and PSTN services on the NSW South Coast this afternoon,’ they said.
‘Services have been coming back online since 1:45pm and are now fully restored. Thanks for your patience while we got this sorted.’
A number of customers were outraged by the disruption, including one woman who claimed to have missed a ‘very important’ phone call.
‘Once again no internet, unable to make or receive calls, missed a very important phone call as no data for phone allowed,’ she wrote on Facebook.

‘Why pay so much for something we can’t use?’
It is believed emergency calls were not affected by the outage, though a number of local businesses were reportedly affected by disrupted internet access.
Among them was Greenwell Point Bowling and Sports Club in the Shoalhaven Region which was forced to accept cash-only payments before services were restored.
Cambewarra Public School advised parents the outage had disrupted internet and phone access at the school in a post to social media.
A range of health providers reported disrupted phone services, including Pambula Hospital, South East Regional Hospital and Eden Community Health.
Services came back online sooner than the expected restoration time of 6pm reported by the Southern NSW Local Health District.
Last week, a separate Telstra outage affected thousands of customers across the state following a severe weather event.
That outage, which disrupted the ability of customers to make emergency calls, also affected other telecommunications providers in the region.
More to come.
