Guests won’t need to splurge on new outfits, but holidaymakers booking onto one of the world’s most iconic nude cruises will need a healthy bank balance.
The Big Nude Boat, an exotic Caribbean cruise where clothing is not required, is setting sail for another 11-day naked voyage on February 9 2026.
But the nude adventure doesn’t come cheap with the cheapest interior cabins on sale for $2,000/£1,538.
Rates soar to $33,155/£25,511 for the cruise’s most luxurious room, a three-bedroom garden villa.
The naked odyssey is set to take place on the Norwegian Pearl, a Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) ship which has capacity for 2,300 passengers.
On top of the standard rates, guests will need to pay port taxes at $284/£218 per person as well as mandatory prepaid gratuities at $221/£170.
But the price doesn’t seem to put off many nude cruisers.
In a popular Reddit discussion, one happy customer, who has been on four Bare Necessities cruises with their wife, explained the high cost means that passengers tend to be a ‘little older’.

They said: ‘We’ve discovered over the years that they are a really fun way to unplug and chill out for a few weeks.’
And according to Bare Necessities, many customers come back time and time again.
Bare Necessities explains: ‘The Big Nude Boat has become a beloved tradition, with a high percentage of repeat cruisers every year.
‘Many passengers return to reconnect with friends made on past bare cruises, creating a warm and welcoming community atmosphere.’
The 2026 Big Nude Boat is due to make stops in Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Jamaica and at Norwegian Cruise Lines’ private Bahamian island, Great Stirrup Cay, to visit ‘exclusive nude beaches’.
The company warns that the cruise is ‘strictly non-sexual in nature’ and it’s not an ‘appropriate’ holiday choice for swingers.
Anyone violating the company’s policies will be immediately disembarked at the next port of call.
While passengers can be nude at the self-serve buffet, they are required to wear clothing for every meal eaten in the dining rooms.

Guests also need to ‘sit on a towel’ at all times while naked and will receive a fresh towel in their stateroom every day for that purpose.
Holidaymakers must also wear clothes if locals come abroad the ship to perform and during the Captain’s reception.
And while the Big Nude Boat might seem like an expensive holiday choice, it’s not the priciest of Bare Necessities’ cruises.
The company’s ‘6-star experience’ on the Scenic Eclipse II costs a whopping $13,660/£10,500 for the cheapest cabin.
Guests will fork out $50,770/£39,000 for the most expensive room, the ship’s Owner’s Penthouse.
Due to set sail on October 26, the cruise is set to visit locations along the Great Barrier Reef, New Caledonia and Vanuatu and has already sold out of several room options.
