Jason Tartick and Kat Stickler have officially called it quits after six months of dating.
The couple took to their Instagram Stories on Saturday to share the news with their followers.
In a heartfelt statement, 35-year-old Bachelorette alum Tartick — who broke up with Bachelor star Kaitlyn Bristowe in August 2023 — confirmed the breakup, assuring fans that the split was mutual and amicable. He also expressed his best wishes for Stickler, 29, moving forward.
‘I am sad to share that Kat and I are no longer together,’ he posted. ‘It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast. Sometimes in life, that works out and other times it doesn’t. This time it didn’t.’
TikTok sensation Stickler shared the news of her breakup in a candid video filmed from the comfort of her bed. ‘So with two back-to-back hurricanes, I obviously didn’t think it was the right to talk about my personal life, but a lot of you have already guessed and, yes, Jason and I have broken up,’ she said.

Stickler explained that the breakup was ‘amicable’ and admitted the relationship ‘just didn’t work.’
Although reluctant to discuss the details, she acknowledged that sharing a relationship online means also sharing its end.
‘But I just wanted to tell you guys and it’s not love wasted. I feel like sometimes its so easy to think that when a relationship ends that the love is wasted. But love is never wasted. So, that’s all I have to say,’ she concluded.
Jason ended his message by expressing his gratitude for Stickler, saying she brought him happiness and revealed parts of himself he didn’t know existed.
He also shared his appreciation for her daughter, MK, acknowledging the special bond they formed.
‘This chapter closes amicably, and another opens,’ he added. ‘I’ll be rooting for her happiness and I am also rooting for mine.’
Jason and Kat started dating in April after months of speculation.
As for Bristowe, she has since been linked romantically with Tayshia Adams’ ex-fiancé Zac Clark since January.

Bristowe also recently shared that after her 2023 breakup with Jason, she went so far as to hold a ‘funeral service’ and even a ‘fake burial’ to help process the split.
She opened up about the unusual way she coped during a conversation with Amanda Hirsch on the latest episode of her Off the Vine podcast.
‘[I had a] little funeral service — like a fake burial,’ she spilled, adding, ‘I did it alone. I didn’t bury anything. It was all mental.’
She explained, ‘It’s more of a visual practice and it is to say your goodbyes and make a little peace with it. It shifts something in the ol’ brain. It really does do something in your brain.’
