The cast of 70s and 80s sitcom Taxi reunited on the red carpet for the Roundabout Theatre Company’s 2025 Gala on Monday – 47 years after the show began.
The star-studded gala was held to honour legendary actor and Taxi star Danny Devito, 80, who was being awarded with a Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.
And Danny certainly looked on fine form as he posed alongside his fellow Taxi actors Christopher Lloyd, Carol Kane, Danny DeVito, Tony Danza, Marilu Henner and Judd Hirsch at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York
They were also joined by the show’s co-creator James L. Brooks, who looked as proud as punch while posing alongside the cast.
Danny couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he posed for a number of fun snaps with his pals, with the star seen larking about with Tony Danza, 73, on the red carpet.

The series followed the employees of a New York City taxi cab company in the late 1970s and early 1980s which helped launch all of the actors into stardom.
Danny starred as the main antagonist, devilish dispatcher Louie De Palma, who spent his time holding court in the dispatch office in the garage where he frequently belittled and annoyed drivers.
Judd played Alex Reiger, the level-headed cabbie who everyone in the Sunshine Cab Company turns to, who is also the only driver who considers it his career, not just a temporary job like most others.
Tony played boxer and Vietnam veteran Tony Banta, who started working at Sunshine Cab after losing his boxing license.
Christopher played Reverend Jim Ignatowski, who was a guest star in the first season and upgraded to a main cast member throughout the rest of the show’s five season run.
He won two back-to-back Emmy Awards for playing the character in 1982 and 1983, and is considered one of the greatest TV characters of all time.
Carol played Simka Dahblitz-Gravas, who dated and ultimately married Latka (Andy Kaufman) on the show.
While Marilu portrayed single mother Elaine Nardo who aspired to be an artist.

The series won 18 Emmy Awards, including three for Outstanding Comedy Series.
The show was created by James L. Brooks, Stan Daniels, David Davis, and Ed. Weinberger.
All of them are trying to become something better as they chase the American dream.
Guest stars included Ruth Gordon, Eileen Brennan, Penny Marshall, Dr. Joyce Brothers, Ted Danson, and Rhea Perlman.
Tom Selleck and Mandy Patinkin had memorable guest appearances.
