The team of the Great Indian Kapil Show is gearing up for the much-anticipated launch of the third season of their popular Netflix comedy series. The show is all set to give audiences an unlimited dose of laughter and entertainment with its side-splitting jokes, witty banter and hilarious episodes. Hosted by the talented comedian Kapil Sharma, the Netflix show features a stellar lineup of guests from the world of Bollywood, television, web series and beyond.

Before the official launch, the show’s talented cast, including Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda and Rajiv Thakur, came together for a grand event to officially announce their third season.

During this gathering, Rajiv documented a behind-the-scenes vlog, which he eventually posted on his YouTube channel. The video gave fans glimpses of their preparation for the event and Krushna’s superstitious beliefs that he believes contribute to the show’s popularity on the streaming platform.

In the vlog, Rajiv jokingly shared an interesting anecdote about Krushna that he follows for the show’s success. Rajiv mentioned that Netflix had specifically requested the team to avoid wearing black for the event. Krushna, however, had shown up with only black outfits for the event. While Rajiv initially wondered why Krushna made the choice to stand out, the comedian soon responded that he did it for the sake of the show’s success.

Elaborating further, Krushna shared, “When we had the launch of the second season, they specifically wrote that they don’t wear polka dots, and Kapil wore polka dots. I saw him, and our second season was a big hit. So my belief is, ‘Don’t do what they say’.”

Embracing the fun, Rajiv decided to follow suit and announced that he too would change into black. “Isse show chalta hai aur jisse show chalega, hum wo sab karenge. (We will do whatever it takes for the show to work),” he added, leaving everyone in splits.

Coming to The Great Indian Kapil Show, the first season aired in March 2024. The comedy show welcomed several guests from the entertainment industry, and after 13 blockbuster episodes, Kapil wrapped up the season in May. Just a few months after the first season ended, the show premiered its second season, which also had 13 episodes.
