The signs ‘anointed one’ Ivanka Trump has fallen from ‘First Lady’ status, according to body language expert

A body language expert has weighed in on Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner’s stoic stances on the Mar-a-Lago stage last night – as well as her body language towards father Donald Trump.

Ivanka, dressed in a glamorous blue velvet pantsuit, joined her entire family last night as her dad gave a victory speech, accepting his win in the race for the 47th President of The United States.

As her husband, Jared, stood by her side, the two took their place on stage next to Trump’s Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife, Usha, standing towards the end, to her father’s right side.

But although she was present for the win, according to UK-based body language expert Judi James, things were vastly different last night than they were when Trump accepted his first win in 2016.

At that time, Ivanka and her husband trailed right behind Melania and Barron as they took the stage, and were posed towards the front of the group.

‘When Trump became 45th US President, Ivanka’s body language behavior and her stage positioning defined her more as First Lady than Trump’s daughter,’ James told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘Looking fiercely ambitious, loyal and totally immersed in the game, she knocked Melania and the other Trump children into the long grass.’

James noted that in 2016, Ivanka looked like the ‘anointed one,’ as her father’s body language ‘showed admiration and even respect’ for her – especially as she was a part of her father’s political team.

Now, however, times have changed, and Ivanka’s crown as one of the favorite children seems to have been stripped away from her.

‘Melania is now presented as Trump’s greatest asset and jewel in the political crown,’ James told DailyMail.com. ‘Her styling is corporate power-dressing and her poses are confident and strong.’

Lara Trump, who is married to the future president’s son, Eric, is also an important figure these days.

James noticed that Lara seems to insert her self into any photo that Trump is in, all with a ‘look of victorious determination.’

‘You have to look to find Ivanka now,’ James said.

‘Relegated to the chorus line she arrived stuck in the bottleneck at the entrance to the stage and whereas Trump would once have been seeking her out and presenting her to the audience, she and Jared now seem to be expected to forage for attention on the outskirts, behind Vance and his wife.’

Analyzing pictures from last night, the body language expert noticed that Ivanka’s ‘non-verbal signals register detachment now,’ and especially differ from Lara’s.

‘She is no longer responding fully to everything her dad says, like Lara, her eye expression tended to look distanced and a little sad and she was noticeably not in tune with the audience and other friends and family when it came to applause,’ James said of last night’s photos.

‘While others clapped excitedly, we can see Ivanka and Jared standing to attention with their arms straight to their sides.’

The Body Language Rules author believes that Ivanka began to distance herself from the family about a year ago, coinciding with her court appearance.

‘Suddenly the super-smart icy cool daughter was posting photos that, like Barbie, presented her in several different surprising looks like “rock chic’ Ivanka, “cute, girly” Ivanka and even “surfing” Ivanka,’ James explained.

‘She seemed to relax her brand and the normally uptight-looking Jared almost relaxed beside her.’

And, it appears James is on to something here when it comes to Ivanka's disappearance from the public eye and new persona, as she was noticeably absent from his campaign trail this year

But last night, Jared still looked ‘rigid,’ while Ivanka appeared ‘more generous with her emotional reveals,’ James noticed.

Some of these emotions include anxiety and even sadness.

‘There is one photo of her looking across in the direction of her dad with an expression of anxiety and another where her eye expression seems to suggest sadness,’ James claimed about Trump’s daughter.

‘Her smile looks softer now, especially next to Jared’s rictus grin,’ she continued.

This softened look can also be seen in Ivanka’s styling and outfit – with one aspect of her appearance even looking ‘out of place.’

‘No more political color block dresses, she has opted for a soft blue velvet teamed with satin here,’ James said.

‘Her hair is allowed to tumble down one shoulder and her red lipstick looks out of place in the political arena.’

It appears James is on to something when it comes to Ivanka’s disappearance from the public eye and new persona.

Just mere hours before the election, Ivanka avoided any political talk and instead took to Instagram to share a list of 16 lessons she’s learned after her 43rd birthday.

Some of these lessons included that family and friends ‘are everything’ as she urged followers to ‘forgive people’ and understand that ‘everyone is a teacher.’

Noticeably absent from the campaign trail, she also posted photos of flowers and horses over the weekend and on Monday.
