Gisele Bundchen and her jiu-jitsu pro partner Joaquim Valente are expecting their first child together.
The supermodel, 44, is already mom to son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11 from her marriage to NFL star ex Tom Brady, but for Valente, 35, it will be his first foray into fatherhood.
Valente has seemed ready to become a dad for a while and had already embraced Bundchen’s existing brood.
Among a series of photos posted to Instagram in September, the martial arts expert was seen sharing a bonding moment with Benjamin – as the pair took to the water together to paddleboard.

According to TMZ, Valente also spent Father’s Day with Bundchen’s two kids.
Brady had already spent time with the kids earlier in the week to celebrate Father’s Day.
The NFL star couldn’t be with them on the actual holiday due to a broadcasting commitment, so they ended up spending the day paddleboarding in Miami with their mother and Valente.
Back in February, OK magazine reported that both Benjamin and Vivian ‘really like’ Valente.
‘It’s so hard with divorce, but the kids know they’re together now. They really like Joaquim,’ a source told the outlet.
‘They were keeping things quiet — but recently there’s been more PDA; they’re happy to be affectionate with each other in public.’
Bundchen and Brady, who split in 2022, are amicable and have embraced co-parenting.
Despite the Vogue model moving on quickly with Valente, the relationship doesn’t seem to have affected the co-parenting dynamic between Bundchen and her ex.

Valente has also shown his willingness to embrace the children of Bundchen’s close friends, including Ivanka Trump.
Back in May, the former First Daughter was spotted taking her kids to a private lesson while carrying a water bottle and a string backpack with the Valente Brothers Jiu-jitsu school logo on it.
The supermodel, 44, has been dating Valente, 35, since June 2023 shortly after her divorce from Brady, and this will be her third child and his first.
A source close to the star told People: ‘Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.’
Bundchen was pictured on October 23 covering up her stomach in a baggy sweater. She appeared to have a slight bump and kept her handbag shielding her stomach.
She also notably did not walk in the revamped Victoria’s Secret fashion show on October 15 – despite being one of the brand’s iconic Angels.
The pregnancy joy comes two years after Bundchen and Brady split following a 13 year marriage.
Valente, who is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor, owns the school with his brothers, Pedro and Gui, in Miami.
Bundchen and Valente started dating in June 2023 after first meeting in December 2021 when she sought out jiu-jitsu training for her son and then decided to take classes too.
Rumors surfaced in July that Valente and Bundchen may have called things off due to scrutiny following Brady’s Netflix roast – although they later confirmed their romance was still very much on.
An insider revealed to InTouch Weekly at the time that the ‘spotlight was too much’ for Valente.
‘Joaquim’s a regular guy,’ the source added. ‘He’s not used to all the attention he was getting.’
During the Netflix special, The Roast of Tom Brady, several jokes were made at the expense of Bundchen and Valente’s relationship – which the martial arts teacher didn’t take lightly.
‘Joaquim became part of the joke,’ the insider shared. ‘People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that.’
At one point, comedian Nikki Glaser joked, ‘How much would it suck for Tom … omg, just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your a– while eating hers.’
