Bollywood enthusiasts have always held a deep affection for their favourite films, and the industry continues to captivate audiences with its diverse offerings. The latest addition to this rich tapestry is the film ‘Chalti Rahe Zindagi‘, which has recently premiered on Zee5. Notably, the film was shot during the challenging lockdown period of the COVID-19 pandemic and features an ensemble cast, including Manjari Fadnis, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Indraneil Sengupta.
The film, deeply rooted in the experiences of the lockdown period, is structured around three interconnected stories, with a recurring character of a pav seller appearing in each narrative. This unique element has generated considerable interest and discussion among viewers.
Actors Manjiri Fadnis and Siddhant Kapoor reportedly revealed that the film vividly portrays the challenges faced by individuals during the pandemic. It explores the financial and mental hardships encountered by middle-class people, making it highly relatable to everyday viewers. Notably, a significant portion of the film was shot during the lockdown itself.
The film’s team shared that ‘Chalti Rahe Zindagi‘ originated from the need for creative work during the lockdown. Initially conceived as a short film, it was later expanded and developed into a full-length feature.
During the production, several actors unfortunately contracted the coronavirus. Despite these challenges, the film has been well-received by audiences. Among its various characters, the role of the pav seller – added to the film later – has become particularly popular and contributed significantly to the film’s acclaim.
