Tim Walz is living a ‘sad existence’ seethes Karoline Leavitt after he cheered Tesla stock dipping

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed Governor Tim Walz after he  celebrated Tesla stock falling as its CEO Elon Musk comes under fire for DOGE.

On Tuesday, the Minnesota governor and Kamala Harris’ former running mate said that he frequently checks Tesla stock to give him a ‘boost’ during the day.

The company stock has been on the decline since the start of the Trump administration as Musk’s DOGE moves to slash spending and workers.

Leavitt was asked at the White House press briefing on Wednesday about Walz’ comment.

‘I think that’s quite sad,’ Leavitt said in response.

‘I think that Governor Walz unfortunately is living a sad existence after his devastating defeat on November 5th,’ she added.

Her cutting remarks came as Walz has been hitting the road to for a number of speaking engagements as Democrats attempt to fight back against Trump and Musk’s agenda.

The Minnesota governor headed to Wisconsin on Tuesday where he participated in a ‘People v Musk’ event in Eau Claire hosted by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.

The grassroots town hall was held as the party pushes back on the billionaire’s influence in the upcoming state Supreme Court election.

Musk-supported groups have put more than $10 million into the race to help Republican-backed candidate Brad Schimel as he runs against Democratic-backed Susan Crawford in the April 1 election.

During the event at Pablo Center theater, Walz whipped out his iPhone.

‘They’ve got that little stock app,’ he said holding up the phone screen.

‘I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day,’ he went on as the crowd laughed.

‘$2.25 and dropping,’ Walz declared. The audience continued to cheer.

‘If you own one, we’re not blaming you,’ the governor said. ‘You can take dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off, you know.’

He also called Musk an ‘unelected, South African nepo-baby.’
