Rupali Ganguly is celebrating her 12th wedding anniversary with her husband Ashwin K Verma today, February 6. To make the occasion extra special, the Anupamaa actress dropped an adorable video of herself along with her husband. In the clip, the actress was seen beaming with joy as she hugged Ashwin and cutely highlighted their height difference.
The clip was accompanied by a heartfelt note, “12 years and counting. What would I do without you in my life? You pushed me to achieve recognition and provided unwavering support. From being my harshest critic to being the most enthusiastic supporter. From being the best father ever to being Rudransh’s best friend. I have my moment in the sun because you chose to guide me from the shadows. Love you forever, @ashwinkverma.”
In the video, Rupali looked beautiful in a yellow outfit, while Ashwin wore a blue shirt paired with black pants.
As soon as Rupali dropped the post, her fans and admirers extended their heartfelt wishes. An Instagram user wrote, “Happy Anniversary to both of You.” Another user wrote, “Chulbuli RGM and the man with patience Ashwin sir. Happy Anniversary cuties.” One of them wrote, “Wishing a Happy anniversary to a perfect couple! May your love continue to bloom and grow with each passing year.”
Rupali and Ashwin tied the knot on February 6, 2013, and they share a son Rudransh, whom they welcomed in the same year in August. Following their marriage, the actress took a break from acting to focus on her family.
Before tying the knot with Rupali, Ashwin has been married twice. While his first marriage remains private, his second wedding was with Sapna Verma who owns the title of Miss Karnataka 1986. Ashwin and Sapna tied the knot in 1997, lived in New York, and had two kids before their divorce in 2008
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rupali became a household name after she appeared on the popular show Anupamaa, which premiered in 2020. Apart from that, she has also been a part of memorable television shows such as Sarabhai vs Sarbhai, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Sanjivani: A Medical Boon.
