The highly anticipated Laughter Chefs 2 is set to make its grand return to television, airing on Colors TV from January 25. To build excitement among viewers, the makers have been releasing numerous promos ahead of the premiere. While several participants from Season 1 are returning, this season will also feature fresh pairs, adding a twist to the show. One of the most talked-about duos this year is Abdu Rozik and Elvish Yadav, who will be seen cooking together.
In a recent interview, both Abdu and Elvish opened up about their pairing and how their initial impressions of each other evolved. Speaking to ETimes, Abdu Rozik shared that he initially had reservations about being teamed up with Elvish but later discovered his true personality. “I thought he’d be this serious, tough guy, but Elvish is full of surprises. He’s the guy who’ll roast you one second and have your back the next,” Abdu revealed.
He added that despite coming from different worlds, their partnership has been nothing short of magical. Elvish’s humour has not only brought joy to their journey but also taught him to embrace life’s chaos, particularly in the kitchen. “Together, we’re unstoppable,” Abdu concluded, hinting at the fun-filled chemistry fans can expect this season.
Elvish Yadav also expressed how much fun he has been having with Abdu on the sets. Elvish stated, “Abdu is wild! Sometimes I’m like, ‘Bro, we’re supposed to cook, not have a food fight!’ But honestly, he’s the life of the show. He makes me laugh so much I forget we’re competing.”
Earlier, a promo featuring Elvish Yadav and Abdu Rozik was released by the channel. The promo starts with Elvish struggling to recognise what Suji looks like. While taking some help from Bharti, he humorously asks her, “I need semolina, what does semolina look like?” Later, Elvish makes a hilarious comment when he joins Abdu Rozik in preparing the sweet dish. As Elvish speaks in fluent English, Bharti Singh looks on impressed.
Aside from Elvish Yadav and Abdu Rozik, the upcoming season of Laughter Chefs will have Rahul Vaidya, Sudesh Lehri, Rubina Dilaik, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, and Samarth Jurel as participants. Bharti Singh will once again host the show, and famous chef Harpal Singh will serve as the expert judge. Laughter Chefs Season 2 will air every Saturday- Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
