New footage has emerged of Tom Brady showing off his dazzling Super Bowl watch in the hours before the big game in New Orleans.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion set social media ablaze earlier this month with his choice of wristwear while commentating on the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fans initially thought the timepiece that Brady was wearing was a $600,000 Caviar Tourbillon Jacob &Co.

But it later emerged that it was in fact a special Yellow Sapphire Caviar Tourbillon, worth a staggering $740,000.

The piece has 49 carats, along with 338 brilliant-cut diamonds. Benjamin Arabov, CEO of Jacob & Co. said in a press release reported by Page Six: ‘Tom Brady is the epitome of excellence, both on and off the field.

In a behind-the-scenes video of Brady’s whereabouts on Super Bowl Sunday, he can be seen in his Fox trailer getting ready for his commentary duties.

He’s asked by the camera man to show his watch to viewers. Brady can be heard saying: ‘Just a little something’.

Remarkably though, Brady’s 44mm watch wasn’t the most expensive on show at the Caesars Superdome.

That’s because Jay-Z turned up rocking a $3.5m RM66 Flying Tourbillon ‘Rockstar’ in red-orange sapphire.

What’s more, his watch was a limited edition of just two pieces, meaning only one other person has an identical timepiece.

In October last year, Brady put a large part of his personal watch collection up for auction, with 41 items selling for just over $9million.

The collection was titled ‘The GOAT Collection’, referencing Brady’s record seven Super Bowl rings that make him widely considered to be the greatest player in the history of the NFL.
