A Trump voter got into a clash with Michigan polling staff after she refused to take off her MAGA cap.
Michelle Gregoire claims she was ‘assaulted’ while trying to cast her ballot in Battle Creek in the battleground state on Tuesday.
Staff at the voting booth said they had asked her to remove her ‘party or designation’ in reference to the bright-red headwear.
Gregoire shared footage of part of the heated exchange, in which she is seen repeatedly trying to get around the staff member to vote.
‘Let me cast my ballot, sir, you cannot touch me. Do not touch me like that again,’ she says to him.

The poll worker replies by repeating, ‘Take your hat off’ as she continues demanding he not touch her.
As she waves her hand in front of the camera, the poll worker attempts to reach for her ballot paper.
‘Hey!’ She yells, ‘This man is refusing to let me cast my ballot.’
‘This lady is refusing to take off her party or designation,’ the worker responds.
Gregoire replies that her hat does not constitute support for a party or designation.
‘Actually, I am a registered libertarian, so f**k off,’ she retorts before heading over to the ballot box and submitting her vote.
In footage taken outside the polling station, two men who Gregoire identified as police are heard informing her they cannot arrest the man as it would interfere with the administration of the election.
‘The report is getting done right away, there are notifications being made up the command when it comes to people in charge of polling officials.

Gregoire repeatedly warned staff not to touch her ‘again’, before she was able to successfully cast her vote
‘It is not being swept under the rug, it is not being ignored but because it could further disrupt election proceedings we cannot arrest him today,’ an officer says.
‘I think that him assaulting people would disrupt it, you know what I mean?’ Gregoire replies.
Voters in Michigan are not allowed to wear anything that is election or campaign related when casting their ballots.
The mom later confirmed she was able to vote. Her page on X shows overwhelming support for Trump.
‘I did vote! But alas, I was denied my sticker,’ Gregoire wrote.
‘Don’t let them stop you America. Fight against censorship. Fight against fascism. Fight against the state.’
Millions of Americans will head to the polls in what is shaping up to be one of the closest presidential elections in US history.
Voters will decide between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, two candidates who have vastly different visions for America.
The polls could not be tighter as an unprecedented campaign that saw two assassination attempts and a candidate dropping out draws to a close.
