Realme is going to showcase its rumoured 300W charging tech this month

Realme has shared the official teaser to showcase world’s fastest charging tech at an event this month and it could be the 300W support for phones.

Smartphone charging speeds have truly gone bonkers these days, giving you 0 to 100 percent charging in under 20 minutes. But what if we tell you that things are going to become ultra-fast and offer you 100 percent charge in just five minutes?

That’s right, Realme is the brand which has reportedly worked on the new charging tech for its smartphones and we could see it launch soon. The brand has already been one of the leading names in the charging space, and it has shown market-ready products in the form of the GT series that had got support for 240W charging. Xiaomi has also showcased its own 300W charging tech but we’re yet to see a product launch in the market.

Realme GT 7 Pro To Support 300W Charging?

Realme has now officially teased its big event this month where it will showcase the world’s fastest charging speed which hints at the 300W tech finally being unveiled in front of the world. The event is taking place in China between August 13 and 15 at Realme’s headquarters.

The company has talked about changing multiple aspects to make the charging speed tick and probably offer safe input for the devices. Realme will also demo the charging tech in front of the world and we won’t have to wait too long for the big reveal next week.

As for the device that could power the 300W charging speed, most rumours hint that the GT 7 Pro could be one of the first phones in the market powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset to be announced in October. Reliable tipsters based in China also have pointed out that the GT 7 Pro could feature IP69 rating for higher tolerance against dust and water. The device is also likely to come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. But the important upgrade could be the addition of a 300W fast charging battery.

The thought of getting a fully-charged battery in around 5 minutes is exciting and worrying at the same time but we have seen charging innovations do well and not become dangerous. We are hoping for similar traits from the supposed 300W charging unveiling from Realme this month.
