In the second innings of the third Test, Australia bowled West Indies out for 27 runs in 14.3 overs to successfully defend the target of 204 runs.

Australia bowled West Indies out for just 27 runs on Monday (Tuesday IST) to secure a big win by 176 runs in the third and final Test of the three-match series played between the two teams. In the Day/Night Test played at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica, the Aussies set a target of 204 runs for the hosts to win, but the Roston Chase-led side could only manage to score 27 runs in 14.3 overs.

Fast bowler Mitchell Starc picked up 6 wickets for 9 runs in 7.3 overs, and three West Indies batters were sent back to the pavilion by Scott Boland, who also became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in a pink ball Test.

The dominating win inside three days in Kingston helped Australia seal the series with a scoreline of 3-0 and also retain the No. 1 position in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.

The 2023 WTC winners have 36 points and 100 PCT% whereas the West Indies are in sixth place with 0 points and 0 PCT%.

England are second in the WTC 2025-27 points table with 24 points and 66.67 PCT%. The Ben Stokes-led side jumped from fourth to second on Monday after getting the better of India by 22 runs in the third Test played at Lord’s.
