The Uttar Pradesh government has approved the Noida Master Plan 2041. This plan is primarily aimed at expanding the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). According to the reports, with this plan, the authorities have cleared the way for the construction of a 16 km long expressway that will be UP’s shortest expressway.

Reportedly, this expressway will connect the Noida International Airport being built in Jewar to New Noida. Reportedly, the airport is to be developed through a public-private partnership model (PPP). Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Jewar Airport on November 26, 2021.

The highlight of the 16 km long expressway is that its link with other districts of Uttar Pradesh will become easier. According to the news in Hindustan Times, an official of the authority said that there is a plan to connect the airport with the railway line from Rundhi to Chola. According to the reports, its detailed project report (DPR) has been sent to the state government for approval.

According to reports, preparations are underway to build this expressway mentioned in the Noida Master Plan 2041. This expressway will comprise 4 or 6 lanes. As per reports, the approval of Master Plan-2041, the process of land acquisition for this expressway has also commenced.

Apart from the Jewar airport and the New Noida, the natives of nearby districts will also benefit from better connectivity. The land acquisition for this expressway was a big hurdle, but after the approval of Master Plan- 2041, this problem is likely to be resolved.
