US Doubts Ukraine’s F-16 Crashed In Friendly Fire | Russia Jolts Kursk’s Sudzha With Bombs, Drones

On September 1, the Russian defence ministry claimed that as many as 158 drones were downed overnight. Ukraine launched waves of drone attacks targeting power plants and a refinery near Moscow, sparking fires, Russian officials said. Russian regions of Tver, Voronezh, Tula, Kaluga, Bryansk, Belgorod, Lipetsk, and Kursk also came under drone attacks, local officials reported. Drone debris caused fires at the Moscow Oil Refinery and the Konakovo Power Station in the neighbouring Tver region. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said several drones targeted the Moscow refinery and caused a fire at a “separate technical room” at the plant.
