What Should Be Donated
On Vaishakh Purnima, donations of water pots, kulhars (clay cups), fans, slippers, umbrellas, ghee, fruits, sugar, rice, and salt are considered auspicious. It is believed that donating on this day brings peace of mind. According to religious beliefs, donations on Vaishakh Purnima bring blessings from Lord Vishnu as well as Yamraj, granting freedom from untimely death.
