The record date for the dividend eligibility has been fixed as December 24, 2024, according to a BSE filing by Vedanta.
Vedanta Ltd on Monday said its board has approved the fourth interim dividend for FY25 at Rs 8.5 per equity share, amounting to Rs 3,324 crore. The record date for the dividend eligibility has been fixed as December 24, 2024.
“…the Board of Directors of Vedanta Limited at its meeting held today i.e. Monday, December 16, 2024, has considered and approved the Fourth Interim Dividend of Rs 8.5 per equity share on the face value of Re 1 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25 amounting to Rs 3,324 crore,” Vedanta said in a BSE filing.
The record date for the dividend eligibility has been fixed as December 24, 2024, and the interim dividend shall be paid within the stipulated timeline, the company stated.
This is the fourth interim dividend during the current financial year. The company announced a dividend of Rs 11 in May 2024, Rs 4 in August 2024, and Rs 20 in September.
Shares of Vedanta on Monday fell 1.21 per cent to close at Rs 513.4 apiece on the BSE. The stock has almost doubled in 2024 so far.
Vedanta reported a net profit of Rs 4,350 crore during the latest September 2024 quarter, on higher revenue from metals and a write-back.
