1. In 1904, Veer Savarkar as an undergraduate convened a meeting of about 200 trusted comrades and founded the Abhinav Bharat.
2. During his teenage years, Savarkar even formed a youth organisation named Mitra Mela.
3. Inspired by Lokmanya Tilak, he took the initiative to burn all foreign goods on Dussehra in 1905.
4. He started the Free India Society in London, forming the recruiting ground for Abhinav Bharat.
