Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes – 500 grams (chopped)
  • Ghee – 2 tablespoons
  • Boiled potatoes – 2 (mashed)
  • Cashews and raisins – 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
  • Green chillies – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Spices – Garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Chutney – Tamarind and green chutney
  • Salt – to taste

Things To make this chaat special:

  1. Use of ghee: This chaat is cooked in ghee, which imparts a great taste and aroma.
  2. Cashews and raisins: The addition of dry fruits adds a slight sweetness and crunch to the chaat.
  3. Combination of tamarind and spices: The sweet and sour taste elevates its uniqueness.

Recipe:

  • Heat ghee in a pan and add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Fry lightly.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  • Add mashed potatoes, cashews, raisins, and spices. Mix well.
