As per the 2025 Virtuoso Luxe Report, Italy has topped the list of the world’s ‘best family travel destinations’.
Italy has long been a popular travel destination because of its magnificent mansions with architectural marvels, rich cultural legacy, delicious cuisines, and pristine landscapes. Its remarkable landmarks like the Colosseum and the Leaning Tower of Pisa attract lakhs of tourists from across the world throughout the year. Now, the popular European travel destination has achieved a new feat.
As per the 2025 Virtuoso Luxe Report, Italy has topped the list of the world’s ‘best family travel destinations’. The Virtuoso Luxe Report polls 2,200 international travel advisors every year to find out the newest travel trends. Hawaii, Costa Rica, Greece, and Japan also featured among the top 5 ‘best family travel destinations’.
If you are planning a family trip to Italy, there are plenty of things to do in this European nation, which is usually known as a romantic vacation spot worldwide.
For instance, families can experience Renaissance architecture and art in the middle of pastoral settings in Tuscany. With family-friendly activities like grape stomping, petting zoos, and ‘treasure hunts,’ many of the areas more than 100 wineries keep children busy while their parents enjoy wine tastings.
