Volleyball player invited to the White House by Trump reveals shocking reason why she was kicked out of her college sorority

Payton McNabb, the volleyball player recently invited to the White House by President Trump, revealed on Friday that she was kicked out of her sorority for a stunning reason.

McNabb, 19, was struck in the face with a volleyball that had been spiked by a transgender opponent during a high school match two years ago, and says she suffered a concussion, serious brain damage and paralysis on one side of her face. She has since become a vocal advocate against transgender women competing in women’s sports.

McNabb said this week that she was removed from her Delta Zeta sorority at Western Carolina University after recording and interrogating a transgender woman using the woman’s bathroom last year.

In the clip, which was posted on May 2 but resurfaced this week on social media, McNabb asks the individual why they are using the women’s bathroom and says they are ‘not a girl,’ adding ‘I pay a lot of money to be safe in the bathroom.’

McNabb then briefly continued recording the individual as they left the restroom, and confirmed on Friday that the altercation led to her being kicked out of Delta Zeta (last year).

‘I was kicked out of my sorority for stating the simple truth: men don’t belong in women’s bathrooms,’ she wrote on X.

‘Instead of standing by me, they chose to appease a grown man living in a false reality. The organization meant to empower women turned its back on one to protect a lie. STANDING UP FOR WOMEN SHOULD NOT BE CONTROVERSIAL !!!!!

McNabb later replied to a 2024 video featuring two people describing themselves as friends of the trans woman using the women’s bathroom, who accused McNabb of stalking their friend.

The two people in the video also accused McNabb of ‘spreading hate and misinformation’ regarding trans people.

‘THIS is who Delta Zeta sided with when they kicked me out of my sorority,’ McNabb wrote. ‘They called me, the woman in the women’s bathroom, the perpetrator in this scenario while calling the man the victim. Is this a sick joke? So much for “sisterhood”, @DeltaZetaNatl’

McNabb was invited to the White House on Tuesday and mentioned by President Trump, who said the ‘country will be woke no longer.’

The invitation came after Trump signed an executive order banning trans women from competing in women’s sports.

‘It was a shot like she has never seen before, she has never seen anything like it,’ Trump said, referring to the spike that hit McNabb in the face.

‘Payton is here tonight in the gallery and Payton from now on, schools will kick men of the girls team or they will lose all federal funding.’

McNabb was a junior at Hiwassee Dam High School in Murphy, North Carolina when she was struck in the face by a ball traveling at 70mph while in a match.

The ball had been hit by a transgender player on the opposing team and McNabb was knocked unconscious for 30 seconds on the floor with her arms locked upright in a ‘fencing’ position.

Doctors diagnosed her with a traumatic brain injury, concussion, paralysis on her right side, whiplash and vision problems.
