Even the greatest mascaras can make your eyelashes look flat unless you have naturally long lashes.

Every girl desires long, thick eyelashes. Dense eyelashes can make your eyes look larger and more beautiful. For this, beauty products are available but they are no substitute for your natural beauty. Even the greatest mascaras can make your eyelashes look flat. On the other hand, fake eyelashes need glue which makes the eyes dry and often feels uncomfortable and heavy.

Using cosmetics is surely an option, but what if we tell you you can easily grow your lashes at home? These remedies are not cumbersome, and the ingredients can be found in your kitchen or nearby stores.

Green tea

Green tea is well known for its numerous health benefits along with being useful for hair growth. Green tea has properties that may help stimulate hair growth and enhance hair quality. Simply dip a cotton swab in green tea and apply it to your eyelashes every day.

Coconut oil

This oil is often used to improve your hair quality. Coconut oil is mild and moisturising which prevents the loss of important proteins found in your hair. So one can use coconut oil to cure thinning and damaged eyelashes as well. Wash your lashes with mild soap and pat them dry with a clean cloth. Dip a cotton swab in coconut oil and apply it to your eyelashes. Leave on overnight. When you get up in the morning, wash it off with water.

Petroleum jelly

In addition to keeping your lips healthy, it may benefit your eyelashes. It will moisturise and soften your eyelashes. Use a clean mascara wand, and add petroleum jelly-based product to your top and lower eyelashes. You can do this before putting makeup on to make it simpler to get mascara off afterwards.

Shea butter

This is rich in vitamins C and antioxidants. Antioxidants are also important in stimulating the production of collagen, a protein that helps in hair growth. You can rub a small amount of shea butter between your fingers and apply it to your eyelashes. Leave it on overnight, then rinse it off the next morning.

Brush your lashes

Brush your eyelashes gently upward with a clean mascara brush. Brushing your lashes untangles the hairs, allowing them to grow straight. You can also comb your eyelashes to get rid of any dirt or dust that has accumulated on the strands. Even if you apply makeup, make sure to remove it gently before going to bed.
