After snowfall in winter, Kullu-Manali transforms into a beautiful paradise for tourists, offering them an exciting experience. Sethan Village, known as the Igloo Valley of Manali, is a perfect spot for visitors looking for a unique adventure. Here, tourists can experience living in houses made of ice, known as igloos. Sethan Village, one of the most scenic areas, offers a sense of tranquillity under the open sky, surrounded by dense pine trees.

Sethan, a small village located just 12 km from Manali, has recently gained popularity among tourists due to its picturesque beauty. Although this village is enjoyable to visit year-round, its charm is heightened after the winter snowfall. The villagers build snow houses (igloos) during this time, providing visitors with the opportunity to stay in these icy dwellings amid freezing temperatures.

Snow Activities During Snowfall

Vijay Bodh, a resident of Manali, explains that alongside staying in the igloos, tourists can also enjoy various snow activities in Sethan Valley. These activities include snowboarding, skiing, and tubing around the igloo houses, offering visitors a unique and thrilling experience.

Igloo Houses Built After January

Vijay Bodh, who has been running an Italian pizza hut in Sethan Valley for several years, also offers camping experiences to the tourists visiting the area.
