Sunil Yadav was known to get drugs into India through the Pakistan route and his name.

Sunil Yadav’s name had come up in a case related to a seized drugs consignment worth Rs 300 crore.

Drugs smuggler Sunil Yadav, who was wanted in multiple cases in Rajasthan, has been killed in a shootout at California’s Stockton. Sunil Yadav was known to get drugs into India through the Pakistan route and his name had also come up in a case related to a seized drugs consignment worth Rs 300 crore.

Gangster Rohit Godara has claimed responsibility for Sunil Yadav’s killing. Rohit Godara, known to be part of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, said in a statement about Sunil Yadav, “He had worked with Punjab police to get our brother Ankit Bhadu killed in an encounter. We have avenged him. Sunil Yadav fled the country when his name emerged in Ankit Bhadu’s encounter death, Rohit Godara said, adding, “In the US, he was sharing information about our brothers.”

Sunil Yadav was from Abohar in Punjab’s Fazilka district and was once known to be close to Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang but the killing of Ankit Bhadu turned them against him. He had earlier lived in Dubai and Rajasthan police had worked with authorities to arrest him there and bring him back to India as well.
