Hema Sharma was last seen in the Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show Bigg Boss 18. She became the first contestant to be evicted from the BB house.
Following this, Nyrraa Banerji, Muskan Bamne, Alice Kaushik, Tajinder Singh Bagga, and Aditi Mistry, among others, were eliminated from the show.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Free Press Journal, she opened up about how her life changed after her stint on the reality show. She also mentioned how she is still struggling to make ends meet after she accused her husband of domestic violence.
“My husband took full advantage of me to become famous. He became famous along with me. He must have felt that I had brought lakhs of rupees, and he had been giving me Rs. 35,000 for the last seven months. He has refused to give that too and has said that I should ask for it from Madam now. I had only 30,000-40,000 left with me, and I had to pay the rent. So, on Thursday, I sold my earrings, which were worth 1,37,000 rupees. I have to pay the rent now, pay my electricity bill, and other things as well. I am saying this for the first time because my people do not know what were my conditions when I entered the house,” Hema said.
