Harmanpreet Kaur and the Indian women’s cricket team were spotted boarding a flight from Brisbane and landing in Perth.

The Indian women’s cricket team travelled from Brisbane to Perth for the third and final one-day international against Australia at the WACA on Wednesday.

On Monday, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. were spotted boarding a flight and landing at their destination.

BCCI posted a video with the caption: “Brisbane to Perth. Team India have reached Perth for the final ODI of the series”.

Georgia Voll and Ellyse Perry’s brilliant centuries powered Australia to a daunting total of 371 against India. The target proved insurmountable, as India managed to score only 249, handing Australia an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. India had lost the opener by 5 wickets.

With this win, Australia have extended their lead in the ICC Women’s Championship standings, sitting comfortably at the top with 32 points, ahead of second-placed England with 28 points. India are at No.3 with 25 points.

In the current cycle,India has 7 more matches to play (1 vs Australia, 3 vs West Indies and 3 vs Ireland) while Australia have 4 more matches to play (1 vs India, 3 vs New Zealand).

Australia, England and India – occupying the top-three places in the points table in that order – are part of a three-way race for top spot in the Women’s Championship, with the reigning ODI champions (Australia) still with four matches left to play.

While Australia and England have already qualified for the World Cup, South Africa – currently placed fourth in the points table – are also through, having defeated England in the opening match of their three-game home series.

In the middle of the table, there’s a tussle between Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Bangladesh and West Indies for the remaining two automatic qualification spots.
