Charlie Kirk, the host of the Charlie Kirk Show shared the video on X where Kamala Harris and Whitmer appear to have a serious conversation.
“So, my thing is we need to move ground among men,” Harris was heard telling Whitmer at the Trak Houz Bar and Grill.
The US vice president then turns around and notes that she is among reporters and she follows up by saying: “Oh, we have microphones in here just listening to everything. I didn’t realise that!”
Some commentators on X, including pro-Donald Trump account the Trump War Room, claimed that Kamala acted as if she had a hot mic moment.
“Kamala appears to acknowledge she’s struggling with male voters before noticing there are “microphones in here just listening to everything.””Shit! Ha ha ha!”Fakest candidate ever,” the account tweeted.
The latest New York Times polls reveal Vice President Harris leading Donald Trump among women voters, with a 54% to 42% edge. However, Trump holds a lead among male voters, 55% to Harris’s 41%.
In an interview last week, Harris brushed off concerns about her declining support among male voters when NBC’s Peter Alexander questioned her about the apparent disconnect.

At first, Harris avoided answering directly, instead mentioning the diverse, mixed-gender crowds who keep attending her events. She added that she’s working to win the support of every American.
When Alexander pushed further, asking why fewer men seemed to support her, Harris replied that this wasn’t something she had personally noticed.
