Taking his ‘much awaited dip’ in the sacred waters, Sunil Grover highlighted the significance of the moment and the thousands of years of tradition associated with the riverside.

Prayagraj is awash with a sea of devotees as the Maha Kumbh Mela, a spiritual gathering of faith and spirituality, is going on in full-swing. Amid the chanting of sadhus and saffron-clad devotees seeking purification at the Triveni Sangam, a number of known personalities have made their way to take a holy dip. Adding to the list of celebrities seeking spiritual solace at this ancient gathering, comedian and actor Sunil Grover has now joined the throngs of pilgrims in Prayagraj.

The comedian recently shared a video on social media giving fans a sneak peek into his spiritual journey at the Mahakumbh Mela 2025. In this bustling gathering of faith and devotion, Sunil made his way and took his much awaited dip in the sacred waters. Sharing his divine experience on Instagram, Sunil Grover highlighted the significance of the moment and the thousands of years of tradition associated with the riverside.

The Jawan actor wrote, “दिव्‍य, दैवी, ईश्‍वरीय, (Divine, Celestial, Godly) Divine to be here at the Mahakumbh 2025. Feeling blessed to take a much awaited dip.” He added, “So many Sadhu, Sant, Rishi, Muni, and Mahatma have been coming here for thousands of years in the same water. I feel full, complete. Gratitude to each and every one who helped me to reach here. Jai ho!”

In another post shared on Instagram, the comedian gave fans a glimpse of his simplicity and grounded personality. In a couple of pictures, we can see Sunil sitting with a group of women and posing with them at Kumbh. Sharing the snapshots, he captioned the post, “Winters evening at the Kumbh.”

Before Sunil Grover, choreographer and filmmaker Remo D’Souza attended the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 and took a dip at the Sangam. The celebrated artist, accompanied by his wife, Lizelle D’Souza, opted for a low-profile spiritual journey to seek spiritual blessings. Clad in an all-black traditional attire with his face partially covered, the choreographer perfectly blended in with the crowd, maintaining anonymity while immersing himself in the spiritual atmosphere.

Sharing glimpses of his holy visit on social media, Remo D’Souza showcased some serene moments of taking a sacred dip in the holy waters of Prayagraj, taking a boat ride, and seeking blessings from the revered Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj.

Talking about Maha Kumbh 2025, the religious gathering commenced on January 13 and will conclude on February 26, Maha Shivratri. So far, millions of devotees including Bollywood icons like Anupam Kher and Mamta Kulkarni, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson have been to the Triveni Sangam for the holy dip and embraced the spiritual energy.
